Collarenebri is a town of about 500 people on the Barwon River 700km north west of Sydney and 2 hours and 45 minutes drive north of Dubbo.

Collarenebri is famous for its fishing and Murray River cod.

The Collarenebri Multi Purpose Service has an on call roster and the average number of acute oncall presentations averages 2-4 per day.

Collarenebri qualifies for an annual Medicare Retention Grant of $20,000 after 2 years (defined as 8 active quarters).
