Dr Hamish Meldrum - Director
Hamish has a commitment to providing the highest standard of healthcare where Ochre has established medical centres. He is regularly involved in meeting doctors interested in working for Ochre Health and assisting in their orientation and induction.His background is as a GP for 15 years in urban and rural practice in both Australia and New Zealand. This includes 5 years as a GP Obstetrician in the rural town of Bourke, NSW and another two years being a rural GP locum.
Hamish is a co-founding owner of the Ochre Health Group and is an executive director with responsibilities for providing strategic direction and clinical leadership to Ochre Health Medical Centres, Allied Health Services and Hospital medical service management contracts.
Dr Ross Lamplugh - Director
Ross has 20 years of clinical experience with 10 years as a GP Anaesthetist in rural AustraliaHe was previously Medical Superintendent for Palm Island Hospital serving a remote Queensland indigenous community; and also was formerly Deputy Director of Medical Services, Royal Hobart Hospital.
Ross is actively involved in medical education and is volunteer instructor with APLS Australia.
Ross is a co-founding owner of the Ochre Health Group and is an executive director with responsibilities for Business Development, Finance and the clinical oversight of Recruitment Services.
Peter Bayley - Director
Peter has a 30 year experience in healthcare management; he was formerly CEO of three private hospitals and previously held a corporate role in an ASX listed private health care company.He has also held senior management roles in the NSW public hospital system in areas such as corporate services, human resource management and capital works management. More recently he has worked as an independent contractor providing management and consulting services to hospitals, day procedure centres and other health organisations; and he is a Director of an organisation providing community aged and disability services.
Peter’s is an executive director providing business support to the Ochre Health Group.
Lindsay Phillips - Director
Lindsay is a non executive director representing Lazard Carnegie Wylie’s investment in the Ochre Health Group.He is Head of Private Equity, Lazard Carnegie Wylie and has broad international business, finance and investment banking experience in the United Kingdom, USA and Australia.
He is a company director of a variety of businesses in a broad range of manufacturing and service industries.
Simon Barker - Manager Ochre Recruitment
Prior to joining Ochre Health in 2006, Simon was Area Manager of Defence Force Recruiting - Tasmania. In this role he was responsible for the conduct of all operational aspects of Australian Defence Force recruitment in Tasmania.Simon served in the Australian Defence Force for 20 years with a final posting as a Senior Military Recruiting Officer within Defence Force Recruiting. He holds qualifications in Social Science, Management and has a Masters in Business and Technology.
Simon is responsible for recruitment services and is based in the Hobart Office.
Peter Tognetti - General Manager Health Services
Peter has 30 years healthcare administration experience as a senior manager of specialist medical, general practice, diagnostic and allied health centres and a day surgery centre.He also has prior experience in management roles in the pathology and radiology sectors and has held senior financial and operational management roles in the NSW public hospital system.
Peter is responsible for medical practices and health services and is based in the Sydney Office.
Sean Green - Commercial Manager
Sean has 20 years experience in business, information technology and financial management, holding senior management positions for over 10 years including positions with Western Australian Health Department (Manager, Finance and Administration for the West Pilbara District Health Service), Queensland Health (Business Manager at a large teaching hospital in Brisbane), and the Tasmanian Department of Premier and Cabinet.He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting/Management) and is a Member of CPA Australia.
Sean manages the commercial and financial operations of the Ochre Health Group and is based in the Hobart Office.
Angela Mason - Specialist Practice Management Adviser
Angela has 25 years senior nursing and medical centre practice management experience, and recent experience as a part-time University lecturer in practice administration.
She is a Registered Nurse and holds a Cert. Nursing Management, Dip Practice Management and a Certificate IV Workplace Training. She is a past National President of the Australian Association of Practice Managers, and a current practice accreditation surveyor with AGPAL Australia.
Angela is responsible for accreditation of all medical centres, nursing support and specific practice management projects.
