2015 Louth Races

The 2015 Louth Race Day, hosted by Louth Turf Club was again the pride of outback racing. Situated along the banks of the Darling River in country NSW, the race brings together people from all over the country.

This year Ochre Health hosted their own tent; guests included people from Bourke Hospital, Aboriginal Health Service and Area Health.

Approximately 3000 people attended the event, known to be one of the friendliest and most unique country race meetings in the country. Everyone embraced the outback race day by dressing up in their race day bests.

The event gave our Sydney Office staff Rich Green and Sally Gardner, the chance to meet with the local community, doctors and health organisations from the area.

Sally and Liz Goodfellow got through to the final round of the ‘Fashions of the Field’ competition, so well done girls!

A special mention and thank you goes to Therese Gale from Darling River Medical Centre and Vivan Slack-Smith from Barwon River Medical Centre for their amazing effort in organising the Ochre Health tent and guests for the day. It was enjoyed by all!
