Ochre Health Sunshine Coast Medical Centre Has Opened

Ochre Health Sunshine Coast Medical Centre opened it’s doors to the public on Monday 3rd March.

The new 3000sqm Sunshine Coast Medical Centre will operate as a large integrated primary care centre with a focus on the management of chronic diseases including diabetes, asthma and cardiac diseases as well as providing a walk-in no-appointment service for urgent care.

The centre opened with five GP’s and has the capacity to grow to 14 Doctors and currently enjoys a wide range of supporting allied health services within the clinic, supported by Chronic Disease Management (CDM) trained Nurses.

Ochre Health Medical Centre Sunshine Coast has been established with financial assistance from the Australian Federal Government under the Super Clinics program.

Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday 08:00am – 07:00pm
Saturday 09:00am – 04:00pm

Please note that Ochre Health Medical Centre Sunshine Coast is a walk-in clinic. You are welcome to make an appointment but if you choose not to do so there will always be a Doctor available to see you.

Billing Type
The clinic is a mixture of both private and bulk-billing. Billing is usually at the General Practitioner’s discretion. Health Care Cards, Pension Cards and under 16’s will be bulk-billed along with University Students. Saturdays will be privately billed or billed at the Doctor’s discretion. Please ask reception for a fee for your specific requirement.

Registered Nurses
There is five Registered Nurse’s working at Ochre Health Medical Centre Sunshine Coast.
Services provided by the Registered Nurses are: Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments, Immunisations, Wound dressings, Ear Syringing, Removal of Sutures and any other services that the Doctors request.
