Respiratory Clinic assessments and any testing (if needed) are free of charge and you do not need a referral from your GP.
Our practice is open for in-person and telehealth consultations
Telehealth (phone or video) appointments can be booked online or over the phone, while in-person appointments can only be made over the phone. Medicare support is available for both options.

Ochre Health Medical Centre Bathurst is located in a purpose built building on the grounds of Charles Sturt University, close to the world famous Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit. The spacious premises have ample on-site parking.

Billing Type
Ochre Health is a mixed billing practice. Bulk billing is available at the discretion of the individual doctor and as a general guide, pensioners (over 65 years of age), health care card holders and children under 16 years can be bulk billed at certain times during the day. Please ask our friendly reception team for more details. Please also note, we have systems in place to process your Medicare rebate claims on the spot.

Dr Ross Wilson (MBBS FRACGP FACRRM DRANZCOG DA DCH DCCH) – General Practitioner
Dr Ross Wilson graduated from the University of Sydney and undertook postgraduate training in both Australia and the United Kingdom. He has enjoyed nearly four decades working as a rural General Practitioner with a clinical practice that incorporates procedural anaesthetics and obstetrics, in many locations both within NSW, and also further afield in remote outback Australia. His other professional activities include Chair of the Education Committee, Rural Faculty RACGP, Member of the Joint Consultative Committee on Obstetrics and Senior Lecturer with the University of Sydney and University of Western Sydney. Outside of medicine, he maintains a strong interest in farming successfully breeding Suffolk and Southdown sheep.
Specialty Interest Area: Paediatrics
Dr Wilson is currently on extended leave.

Dr Pavan Phanindra (MBBS, MSc, DCH, JCCA) – General Practitioner
Dr Pavan Phanindra will be available full time in Bathurst. Dr Phanindra has experience in Paediatrics, anaesthetics, ED, chronic disease, skin conditions, aged care and mental health.
Dr Phanindra’s hobbies outside of work include cricket, travelling and bushwalking.
Speciality Interest Area: GP anaesthetics, medical education
Dr Phanindra is available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Maria Rasool (MBBS, DCH, EMC) – General Practitioner – Registrar
Dr Maria Rasool has more than five years of clinical work experience in Australia, mostly in hospitals in all core specialities including ED, aged care, general surgery, general medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, rehabilitation, ICU/HDU, psychiatry and ambulatory care.  Maria holds a Certificate in Emergency Medicine & Diploma in Child Health and completed her medical degree in Pakistan. In her spare time, Maria enjoys reading and painting.
Specialty Interest Area: General Medicine & Paediatrics.
Dr Rasool is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Dr Hajara Rashid (MBBS) – General Practitioner Registrar
After completing her MBBS, Dr Rashid followed her interest in specialising in Opthalmology, completing her two year diploma in Opthalmology at the prestigious Aravind Eye Institute in India. Following her emigration to Australia, she worked for a time in Emergency Medicine and family Medicine, before going on to join the department of Breast and Endocrine Surgery at Westmead Hospital.  In her spare time, Hajara enjoys baking and gardening

Dr Katrina Giskes (MBBS PhD BHlthSc (Nutrition and Dietetics)) – GP Registrar
Dr Giskes originally trained as a Dietitian/Nutritionist and worked in research in Australia and the Netherlands, completing a PhD in Public Health. She went on to complete her MBBS in 2015, at the University of Sydney. Her hospital training was undertaken in Westmead/Blacktown network. In her spare time, Katrina enjoys outdoor activities, family life and sports.

Dr Giskes is available Monday and Tuesday.

Dr Saleh Kashba (MBBS) – General Practitioner
Dr Kashba received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Garyounis University (Libya) in 2006. He then enrolled in the neurosurgical training program. In 2009 he was awarded a scholarship to complete his PhD and postgraduate training in neurosurgery in Australia. Following this, Dr Kashba moved to a part time general practitioner position, working in Sydney, Lithgow and currently in Bathurst. He is also currently working as a part time Neurosurgical fellow with Dr Darweesh Alkhwaja at Norwest and Nepean Hospitals. He is currently a clinical supervisor for medical students of both Sydney and Western Sydney Universities.

Dr Danielle Andreussi (MBBS, DCH, FRACGP) – General Practitioner
A graduate of Griffith University on the Gold Coast, Danielle worked at various hospitals in Brisbane before moving to Rockhampton to complete her training in General Practice. During this time she also completed her Diploma of Child Health, from the University of Sydney and has a strong interest in the treatment of children as well as women’s health.
Before studying Medicine, Danielle completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and worked as a Scientist.
She is a keen soccer player and trains in Taekwondo.
She and her husband have a strong passion for volunteer work. They fostered dogs in Rockhampton for the local rescue organisation as well as volunteer work for local soccer and cricket clubs.

Dr Uri Harrington (JCCA) – General Practitioner
Dr Uri Harrington started a career in healthcare as a physiotherapist in Perth WA, working at Fremantle Hospital. After graduating from University of Notre Dame Fremantle with a bachelor of medicine and surgery he went on to complete an internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. He later moved to the Central Coast NSW to gain experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology,
Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, ENT and Anaesthetics. This ultimately led to him going down the path of GP/ Anaesthetics, moving once again to Newcastle where he worked at John Hunter Hospital, Belmont Hospital and Stockton to gain valuable experience in Anaesthetics. Dr Harrington has a special interest in weight-loss, sport injuries, and musculoskeletal medicine.
In his spare time, Uri enjoys spending time hiking, traveling, cooking, and camping.
