Ochre Medical Centre Oakey is a country style general practice that prides itself on great customer service and whole-of-life, patient-centred care. Having completed a broad-range of advanced skills training and an interest in rural and regional medicine, our doctors provide care across the disciplines of advanced skin cancer medicine, aviation medicine, maternity and perinatal care, family planning including contraceptive implants, IUDs and vasectomies, paediatrics, mental health, emergency medicine, community based aged and palliative care.

Our team of doctors, nurses, allied health professionals and reception staff are dedicated to providing compassionate, confidential and high quality health services. We aim to foster an enjoyable, fulfilling work environment for our staff based on a sense of mutual respect, teamwork and professionalism.

After Hours
In an emergency call 000. This practice has an agreement with the Oakey Health Service for patients requiring urgent afterhours medical attention to contact the Oakey Hospital on (07) 4691 4888.

Billing Type
Ochre Medical Centre Oakey is a mixed billing practice. Bulk billing is available at the discretion of the individual doctor. As a general guide, pensioners (over 65 years of age), health care card holders and children under 16 years are generally bulk billed. Please ask our friendly reception team for more details. Please also note that we have systems in place to process your Medicare rebate claims on the spot.

Dr Damian Webb (MBBS (HONS) FRACGP GCERTMED BBIOMEDSCI) – General Practitioner
Dr Damian Webb graduated from the University of Queensland in 2004. Dr Webb worked for three years in Miles as the Principal Doctor at the Hospital and as a General Practitioner before moving to Toowoomba where he has continued to work as a General Practitioner. Dr Webb began working at Downs Rural Medical, Kingsthorpe practice in 2013 and has a special interest in skin cancer medicine and surgery, family practice, emergency medicine and palliative care. He also has a strong interest in medical education and training.
Specialty interest areas: Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, Family Practice, Emergency Medicine and Palliative Care.

Dr Wolfgang Seckler (STATE EXAM (GERMANY) FRACGP) – General Practitioner
Dr Wolfgang Seckler completed his medical training at the University of Hamburg in Germany in 1991. After graduating, he completed 2 years at the Hospital in Cologne before commencing his GP training in Bavaria. Dr Seckler has spent 6 years working as a Medical Informatics Consultant during his career. He has travelled and worked as a GP extensively around the world including South Africa, UK, Germany and rural Australia. After this locum experiences in rural Australia, he and his family moved to Queensland in 2005 and he has worked in Oakey as a GP since this time.
Specialty interest areas: Aviation Medicine.

Dr Gwynne Hannay (MBBS FRACGP PHD BENG(BIOMEDICAL)) – General Practitioner
Dr Hannay graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 and worked at the Toowoomba Hospital and Warwick Hopsital.  Dr Hannay joined the Oakey team in 2016, where he completed his fellowship in General Practice.  He continues to work at the Oakey Hospital providing on-call and locum support.
Specialty interest areas: Chronic Disease Management, Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander Health and Paediatrics.

Dr Nathalie Worth (MBBS FRACGP PHD (VASCULAR BIOLOGY) B.APPSCI (HONS)) – General Practitioner
Dr Nathalie Worth graduated from The University of Queensland in 2011 following a previous career in research during which time she gained valuable knowledge and experience. Since this time she has worked at the Toowoomba Hospital before joining the team at Downs Rural Medical in 2015 where she has completed her fellow in General Practice.
Specialty interest areas: Chronic Disease Management.

Dr Robin Yong (MBBS B.ACC BSC(HONS) MAED) – General Practitioner
Dr Robin Yong attended The University of Queensland where he completed his medical degree in 2014. Prior to joining the team in 2016 to complete his fellow of General Practice, he worked at the Toowoomba Hospital. Dr Yong has also had previous experience working as a college lecturer and teacher.

Dr Eriko Yamashita (MD B.PHARM) – General Practitioner
Dr Yamashita joined the team in 2017. She completed her Medical Degree at Griffith University in 2014. Dr Yamashita spent two years working at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and spent time in the areas of Mental Health, Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Colorctal Surgery, and Paediatrics. She has completed a Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She has previously done Country Relieving in Murgon and Cherbourg Hospitals.

Dr Yamahita is currently working towards a Master of Medicine specialising in Skin Cancer Medicine.
Specialty interest areas: Women’s health, Paediatrics and Dermatology.

Dr John O’Bryen (MBBS BSC) – General Practitioner
Dr John O’Bryen completed his Medical Degree in 2013 at the University of Queensland and then spent two years working at the Toowoomba Base Hospital gaining experience in a broad range of specialty areas. We are very pleased to welcome Dr O’Bryen back to the region. He grew up in Toowoomba but has previously spent time working at the Sunshine Coast in the field of Emergency Medicine.

Dr Gemma O’Leary (MBBS BBIOMEDSCI DCH) – General Practitioner
Dr O’Leary graduated from Griffith University in 2013 and completed her first few years of work at the Gold Coast University Hospital. Last year she continued her time there to complete advanced skills training in paediatrics. This year she will be working both with Ochre and at the Oakey Hospital.
Specialty interest areas: Women’s Health and Paediatrics.

Dr Matt Crump (MBBS B.PHARM) – General Practitioner
Dr Crump graduated from Griffith University in 2015. Prior to studying Medicine, he lived and worked as a pharmacist in Townsville and on Palm Island. Dr Crump and his family have chosen to settle and raise their family in Toowoomba. Outside of work, he enjoys cycling, football of any code and gardening.
Specialty interest areas: Rural Health, Paediatrics, Emergency Medicine, Indigenous Health and Sports Medicine.

Dr Paul Triggs (MBBS FRACGP B.Physio) – General Practitioner

Dr Triggs graduated from the university of Queensland in 2002, having previously practiced as a physiotherapist. His background includes five years in orthopaedics, general surgery and psychiatry working at Logan, Ipswich and GCUH hospitals. Dr Triggs moved into general practice in 2007 and has worked as a GP in rural NSW and Toowoomba.
Specialty interest areas: Musculo-skeletal, diabetes and mental health.

Dr Janusz (Jan) Krepski (MMBS) – General Practitioner (Registrar)
Dr Krepski completed his medical degree in 2012 at Barts in London and moved to Australia following a stint working in the Isle of Man. During his GP training he completed diverse rotations including cardiology, gastroenterology, general surgery, ear nose & throat and neurology in a bid to broaden his horizons. He finds the complex health needs involved in elder care interesting and enjoys seeing how a small change can lead to a significant lifestyle improvement.
